死の謎解きゲームです。

私は参加しません。

絶対に。

だって、

すぐ死ぬやん。笑

映画『エスケープ・ルーム（原題：Escape Room）』は、2019年公開のアメリカ映画。

ジャンルはサバイバル・スリラー。

とある理由で選ばれた6人が、“死の部屋”に閉じ込められ、次々と仕掛けられる謎や罠を突破しながら脱出を目指す物語。

見どころは、

• 部屋ごとに変わる仕掛け
• 極限状態で見える人間性
• 「次はどうなる？」の連続

まるで命がけの脱出ゲーム。

いや、命どころか普通に死ぬやつです。笑

🎬選んだ理由？だいたい勘

私がこの映画を選んだ理由。

……適当です。笑

正確に言うなら、

U-NEXTでホラーを眺めていた。

ジャケットを見る。

「お？」

となる。

押す。

終了。

いつもの流れ。笑

映画選びってそんなもんじゃない？

その時の気分。

直感。

勢い。

「よし、これ行っとくか！」

で決まる。

今回も完全にそれ。

😨閉じ込められる時点で無理

これが意外と当たりだった。

ジャンルとしては、

ホラー。

サスペンス。

スリラー。

パニック。

私の好きなもの全部入り。

しかも私は軽く閉所恐怖症気味。

だから観ながらずっと思ってた。

「私、最初の部屋で終わるわ」

たぶん開始5分。

パニック。

終了。笑

だって部屋から出られないんよ？

しかも死ぬかもしれん。

無理やろ。

でも、それなのに観てしまう。

怖い。

苦しい。

逃げたい。

なのに続きが気になる。

こういう映画、大好きなんよね。

👨‍👩‍👧久しぶりの家族映画会

この日は久しぶりに家族3人で観た。

観終わったあと。

みんな顔を見る。

そして、

「……うん、まあ、あれね」

って感じで解散。笑

めちゃくちゃ深い余韻が残る映画ではない。

人生変わるタイプでもない。

でも、

観てる間は最高に盛り上がった。

「そこ！」
「逃げて！」
「いやいやそれ違うやろ！」

って全力応援。

完全に参加者目線。笑

思ってたよりずっと楽しかった。

🧩全部違う部屋、全部嫌

この映画の面白いところ。

部屋ごとにルールが違う。

全部別タイプのパズル。

「いや無理！！」

ってなる部屋もある。

逆に、

「これ気づけばいけたかも？」

って思う部屋もある。

私は謎解き苦手。

でも見てると参加した気になる。

だから余計にドキドキする。

頭いい人。

絶対それ。笑

うちなら息子。

親戚なら天然だけど意外とひらめく姪っ子。

たぶん焦って終わる。

役立たない自信だけはある。

でもやっぱり思う。

私は閉じ込められる系、無理。

頭が良くても、

冷静でも、

あの空間の圧だけで終わる。

即アウト。

断言する。

リアル参加はしません。笑

👻ホラー苦手でも見られるかも？

怖さでいうと、

そこまでグロくない。

ホラー要素も強すぎない。

メインは、

「どうやって脱出する？」

だから、

ホラー苦手な人でも意外と見やすいと思う。

感想をうまく言葉にできないのは悔しいけど、

ひとつだけ言える。

観てる間、

めちゃくちゃ集中してた。

それくらい面白かった。

『エスケープ・ルーム』は、

深い考察系でもなく、

重たい映画でもない。

でも、

気軽に観られて、

ちゃんとドキドキして、

少し頭も使う。

そんな映画。

ラストも、

「はい、終わり！」

って感じでスパッと終わる。

それもまた好き。

余韻で苦しくならない映画って大事。笑

Would I join?

Absolutely not.

Never.

Because I’d die immediately. 😂

Escape Room (2019) is an American survival thriller film.

Six strangers are invited to take part in what seems like a simple escape room challenge. But soon they realize these rooms are not games at all.

Each room is a trap.

Fail the puzzle, and you die.

The movie mixes mystery, survival, tension, and psychological pressure really well.

And honestly?

That already sounds terrifying.

🎬 Why Did I Choose It?

My reason?

Completely random. 😂

More accurately:

I was scrolling through U-NEXT.

Saw “horror.”

Saw the poster.

Thought:

“Hmm… maybe?”

Pressed play.

That’s it.

That’s usually how I choose movies.

No deep analysis.

No reviews.

Just:

“Looks interesting. Let’s go.”

And surprisingly…

This one was a good choice.

😨 I Would Lose in the First Room

This movie has everything I like.

Horror.

Suspense.

Thriller.

Panic situations.

Perfect combination.

But there is one problem.

I’m slightly claustrophobic.

So while watching I kept thinking:

“I’m done.”

Honestly?

I’d probably lose in the first room.

Five minutes.

Panic.

Game over. 😂

Being trapped in a room is already bad enough.

Being trapped in a room where you might die?

Absolutely impossible.

👨‍👩‍👧 Family Movie Night

I watched this one with my family.

It had been a while since the three of us watched something together.

After the movie ended…

We looked at each other.

And basically went:

“Yeah… okay… that happened.” 😂

Then everyone left.

No deep emotional discussion.

No life-changing realization.

But during the movie?

We were completely invested.

“Go there!”
“Run!”
“No, not that way!”

We became part of the escape team. 😂

It was much more fun than I expected.

🧩 Every Room Is Different

One thing I really liked:

Every room feels unique.

Different traps.

Different rules.

Different puzzles.

Some made me think:

“Nope. Impossible.”

Others made me go:

“Actually… maybe I could solve that?”

I’m terrible at puzzles.

But movies like this make you feel like you’re participating.

That’s what makes them exciting.

If I had to enter a real escape room…

Who would I choose?

Easy answer.

Smart people. 😂

At home?

My son.

Among relatives?

Probably my niece.

She seems random, but somehow notices things.

Me?

I’d be standing in the corner like:

“Good luck everyone!”

Very useful support role. 😂

Still…

No matter what…

I could never do this in real life.

The pressure alone would destroy me.

Even if I had a genius brain.

Even if I knew the answer.

Locked room?

No exit?

Countdown?

Goodbye. 😂

👻 Even Non-Horror Fans Might Enjoy It

The movie isn’t extremely gory.

The horror elements are actually pretty light.

The main focus is:

“Can they escape?”

So even people who don’t usually watch horror might enjoy it.

It’s more tension than terror.

More excitement than nightmares.

🎬 Final Thoughts

Escape Room isn’t a heavy movie.

It’s not deep philosophy.

It won’t change your life.

But it will make your heart race.

It’s easy to watch.

Fun.

Fast.

And the ending is very much:

“Okay! Done!”

No endless emotional damage.

Honestly?

I like that sometimes. 😂

So yes.

Random choice.

Unexpected win.

And once again…

My “pick a movie by instinct” method survived.

Who knows.
