ハラハラが止まらない夜

普段、私はあまりアクション映画を観ない。

どちらかと言うとホラー、サスペンス、B級映画、サメ。

そう。

だいたい誰かが追われるか、食べられるか、逃げるやつ。笑

そんな私が久しぶりに観たアクション映画。

それが、

『インディ・ジョーンズ／魔宮の伝説』

だった。

その日はエリーが家に来ていた。

「何観る？」

という話になって、

子どもたちも一緒に観られるものを探した結果、

選ばれたのがこれ。

アドベンチャー。

アクション。

完全に私ひとりなら選ばないジャンル。笑

でも不思議なことに、

これ、前にも何回か観てる。

しかも内容を意外と覚えてる。

映画って忘れることが多いのに、

なぜかこれは残っていた。

たぶん、

印象が強いんだろうな。

エリーも楽しそうだった。

子どもたちも食い入るように観ていた。

もちろん私も。笑

やっぱり映画って、

みんなで観ると違う。

ひとりで観る映画も好きだけど、

家族や大切な人と観る映画は、

また別の楽しさがある。

安心感がある。

笑うタイミングも増える。

ツッコミも増える。笑

シリーズの中では、

私はこれが一番好きかもしれない。

テンポがいい。

展開が早い。

そして、

何よりハラハラが止まらない。

先を知ってるのに。

もう結末もわかってるのに。

それでもドキドキする。

不思議。

そして普通に思う。

インディ、かっこいい。笑

冒険できる人ってすごい。

私は無理。

絶対無理。

だって、

あの食事シーン。

無理。笑

猿の脳みそ。

いやいやいや。

私は食べません。

むしろ何も口にしたくない。

そもそも、

あんな場所に行かない。笑

冒険もしない。

危険も避ける。

かなり現実派。

計画性はないけど。笑

あのシーン、

ゾワゾワとゾクゾクが止まらない。

ホラー好きなのに、

別方向でダメだった。笑

でもインディって、

ツッコミどころも多くて面白い。

トロッコ。

あれ絶対死ぬやつやん。笑

大洪水。

間に合わんやろ。笑

そして橋。

私は渡らない。

即帰る。笑

いや、

帰る以前に冒険へ行かないか。笑

でも結局、

全部ひっくるめて面白い。

そして最後に残る感想は、

ハリソン・フォード、かっこいい。

これである。笑

映画が終わったあと、

おすすめに出てきたのが

『ハムナプトラ』

これも昔観た気がする。

でもまた観る。笑

冒険ものって、

苦手なはずなのに面白い。

観たはずなのに、

また食い入るように観てしまう。

インディも、

ハムナプトラも、

安心して観られる。

ストーリーもわかりやすい。

家族みんなで楽しめる。

こういう映画っていいよね。

久しぶりにみんなで映画を観た夜。

子どもたちがいて、

エリーもいて、

笑って、

ツッコミ入れて、

ハラハラして。

すごくいい時間だった。

映画の内容ももちろん楽しかったけど、

私はたぶん、

「誰と観たか」

の方を覚えてる気がする。

またみんなで映画を観よう。

ハラハラする映画も、

誰かと一緒なら案外悪くない。

🎬 A Rare Action Movie Night

A Night Full of Suspense

I don’t usually watch action movies.

I’m more into horror, thrillers, B-movies, and shark movies.

You know.

The kind where someone is being chased, eaten, or desperately trying to escape. 😂

So when I recently watched an action movie, it was a bit unusual for me.

That movie was:

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

Ellie was visiting that day.

We were trying to decide what to watch.

Since the kids would be watching too, we wanted something everyone could enjoy.

This was the winner.

Adventure.

Action.

Definitely not something I would have picked on my own. 😂

The funny thing is,

I’ve actually seen it several times before.

And I remembered a surprising amount of it.

Usually I forget movie details pretty quickly,

but this one stayed with me.

I guess it’s just that memorable.

Ellie seemed to enjoy it.

The kids were completely absorbed in it.

And of course, so was I. 😂

Movies really are different when you watch them together.

I love watching movies alone,

but watching with family or someone special brings a different kind of joy.

There’s a sense of comfort.

More laughter.

More commentary.

And definitely more jokes. 😂

Out of the whole series,

this might actually be my favorite.

The pacing is great.

The story moves quickly.

And most importantly,

the suspense never stops.

Even though I already knew what was going to happen.

Even though I knew the ending.

I was still on the edge of my seat.

It’s strange.

And honestly?

Indy is cool. 😂

People who can go on adventures like that are amazing.

Not me.

Absolutely not.

Take that dinner scene, for example.

Nope.

Not happening. 😂

Monkey brains?

Yeah… no thanks.

I wouldn’t eat a thing.

Actually,

I wouldn’t even be there in the first place. 😂

No adventures.

No danger.

I’m very much a realistic person.

Not exactly a planner,

but definitely realistic. 😂

That scene gave me chills.

A different kind of chills than horror movies.

I’m a horror fan,

but this hit a completely different nerve. 😂

Indiana Jones is also full of moments that make you laugh.

The mine cart chase.

No way anyone survives that. 😂

The flood.

Not a chance. 😂

And the bridge.

I wouldn’t cross it.

I’d turn around and go home immediately. 😂

Actually,

I wouldn’t even start the adventure in the first place. 😂

But somehow,

all of it works.

And when the movie ends,

my final thought is always the same:

Harrison Ford is cool.

That’s it. 😂

After the movie,

the recommendation list suggested

The Mummy.

I think I’ve seen that one before too.

But I’ll probably watch it again. 😂

Adventure movies aren’t usually my thing.

Yet somehow I always enjoy them.

Even when I’ve already seen them,

I find myself completely drawn in all over again.

Indiana Jones.

The Mummy.

They’re both easy to watch.

Easy to follow.

And fun for the whole family.

There’s something nice about movies like that.

It had been a while since all of us sat down to watch a movie together.

The kids were there.

Ellie was there.

We laughed.

Made jokes.

Held our breath during the exciting parts.

It was a really good evening.

The movie itself was great.

But honestly,

I think what I’ll remember most

is who I watched it with.

Let’s watch another movie together soon.

Even suspenseful adventures

aren’t so bad when you’re sharing them with people you care about.
